That at the moment and due to our financial capacity, we are unable to provide transport reimbursements for those joining our team. Depending on the availability of funds and the nature of the event, we sometimes pre-arrange transport reimbursements with team members to encourage their participation and continued impact in the community. We require a letter of recommendation sent directly by the referee, preferably from a (former) employer, to our Country Director. You will be provided with a template to request such letters.

We are looking for an excellent Administrative Assistant who will help us with varied administrative and clerical tasks within our foundation. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our team members and the board. Assisting in daily office needs and managing our foundation’s general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include tracking team member's log sheets, arranging and participating in interviews, providing meeting minutes and preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.
We are looking for social media and web-savvy volunteers to join our Communication Team. The communications volunteer will assist the Communications Manager with UID’s communications, promotion, branding or marketing. This position will help to gain hands-on experience and training in many aspects of marketing and development, while also gaining a good understanding of a small non-profit organization.
This is an important role, that will enable Unity in Diversity to attract financial support and donations from individuals, groups, the national government and international bodies. Unity in Diversity aids refugees and asylum seekers for sustainable integration in the host communities. We are now searching for committed individuals with previous fundraising experience or who would like to gain such experience, to help support our team in planning of fundraising activities or other ways to raising funds for our cause. As our fundraising volunteer, you will be supervised directly by the project manager and overall by the director.
Projects and Impact Evaluator
We are looking for two volunteer Evaluators to assess UID's projects from inception to date and their impacts on beneficiaries and the communities where we work in general. These evaluators will also collect, collate and evaluate experiences of former and current UID volunteers- those who have worked regularly or in an ad-hoc position. The purpose of these positions will be to help UID in its mission and vision. As the Foundation continues to grow, we want to ensure that we are achieving our aims and that we can adapt our methods and management approach to the needs of communities we work in, to remain useful to them, and to our staff.
