Many efforts have been focused in the integration of migration, especially in the integration of refugees in the South of Asia where the cities of this region are facing challenges in learning to live together. As part of these efforts, UNESCO and partners are carrying out today the World Urban Forum 2018 in Malaysia in order to discuss topics around migration in Southeast Asia, including the migrant’s challenges in urban centers; the interlinkages between migration and intangible cultural heritage; and successful experiences of migrant-inclusive policies in some cities.
