Food plays a major role in our daily lives, and our individual food practices are likely to differ greatly. In addition, food and (traditional) dishes are central to various cultural celebrations and holidays and are often considered major parts of our cultures.
However, we often forget to talk about other issues related to the food practices that are so important to us, such as food shortage or the waste of food: What does food mean to you? Do you think that food waste and/or food shortage is a problem in your country? And if food practices are often culturally (or otherwise) determined, might food waste be different across places or cultures too?
Join us for this informal and friendly discussion where you can meet new people, listen to personal stories and learn new things. You will be treated to delicious multi-cultural food too!
